OBC believes that protecting and restoring Ontario’s biodiversity is the best solution to the challenges created by our changing climate. Flooding and drought, carbon storage, water and air quality and the health and prosperity of our communities are linked to both biodiversity and climate change. But often, these two issues are dealt with separately. OBC has been working on a project to better link biodiversity and climate change, creating multiple wins for biodiversity, climate and society. We’re pleased to introduce our #BiodiversityMakesUs campaign. We encourage all Ontarians to think about what biodiversity means to them and the many ways it makes us stronger, individually and collectively. We hope you will take action to conserve biodiversity and reduce the impacts of climate change.
